After less than six hours of deliberations, jurors in Monmouth County found an Ocean County contractor guilty Wednesday of more than 100 charges in a sex assault case.
Clement Bilski, 45, was found guilty of sexually assaulting a client?s young daughter over a four-year period. Videos, along with a computer and video equipment seized from Bilski?s home in 2006, were presented as evidence during the trial. The girl?s father also took the stand to testify against Bilski.
In 2006, Bilski was charged with more than 429 counts of child pornography and sex crimes. However, only 143 of those counts were at issue during the trial. Prosecutors said those counts only involve one child and they believed there was enough evidence to convict Bilski.
The prosecutor says he will also seek justice in the remaining 278 charges. Depending of whether Bilski pleads guilty to those charges, those cases may or may not go to trial.
