More and more consumers are favoring repairing old and broken items to stretch their buck.
Rago Brothers, a century-old shoe repair business operated out of Morristown, says business has been brisk lately.
"We are seeing people in here that we've never seen before," says Thomas Rago. "They have items that they're thinking twice about getting rid of."
The Morristown Tailor Shop is also reporting a surge, as customers are less inclined to throw items out and buy replacements.
"We're working late," says Albe Medina.
