Researchers say the New York City area officially has the worst traffic in the country, according to the Texas A&M Transportation Institute’s Annual Report.

The report is based on time stuck in gridlock, and extra fuel consumption in 2020.

The pandemic reduced traffic overall, but it was still pretty bad in the area.

Los Angeles held the top spot for years.
