Neighbors along a Trenton street say they are worried about their children?s safety with construction holes in the road.
Residents claim some large construction holes on Hart Avenue have been unprotected for two months. The city says during development, it is the builder?s responsibility to protect the open holes. However, neighbors say they were the ones who had to ask police to put up protective barriers.
The developer did not return calls to News 12 New Jersey. However, crews filled the holes Thursday afternoon. The city says there is a chance the developer will dig the holes again for additional work.
