Weather will not impact Thanksgiving plans today, but it's our coldest Garden State in 7 years. High temperatures are in the mid 40s, but it feels like the mid 30s with wind gusts occasionally reaching 30 mph this afternoon. Expect a nice mix of sun and clouds. Tonight, temperatures will drop below freezing and it will feel like the 20s, even the teens in North Jersey, by Friday morning.
Friday is windier and colder. Gusts occasionally reach 40 mph with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs are near 40 but it will feel like near 30 in the afternoon.
Saturday is the pick out of the weekend. It's cold but sunny with less wind. Highs are in the low 40s. Sunday is cloudy and near 50 . Showers are likely Sunday afternoon.
The next storm arrives on Tuesday. Heavy rain is likely across the state and there could be a mix of snow, perhaps even a period of all snow in North Jersey. Currently, snow accumulations are not expected in Central and South Jersey, but minor to moderate snow accumulations are possible in North Jersey.
There are several chances for stormy weather through early December with colder than average temperatures expected.
