Cloudy and rainy start to the week; conditions clear by the weekend

The week is not entirely expected to be a washout and the bulk of the rain is expected to happen at night.

In a nutshell, this week looks more dreary and damp than sun-filled. If this is your vacation week, I apologize. Nothing I can do about it, but there will be moments of passing storms.
Now I'm not saying the entire week is a washout. It isn't - and it looks like the bulk of the rain happens mostly at night - like tonight and very, very, very early in the morning on Wednesday.
Afternoons may have isolated pop-up storms, but should mainly feature cloudy/humid days. It looks like temperatures - because of the chance of rain and cloud cover - will stay under the 90 degree-threshold, so that's something.
A broad sweeping event of rain and storms passes through on Thursday. Thursday looks like the one "afternoon" day filled with rain. The storms will pass and cleanse our atmospheric palettes with beautiful/warm sunshine for the upcoming weekend.
OVERNIGHT: Cloudy with occasional rain showers. Temps dip to low-70s.
TUESDAY: Cloudy. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. Highs around 86.
WEDNESDAY: Overcast with rain showers at times. Highs around 83.
THURSDAY: Rain showers in the morning with scattered thunderstorms arriving in the afternoon. Highs near 85.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid-80s.
WEEKEND: Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid- to upper-80s.
