High demand and recent winter weather have prompted Circus Vazquez to extend its stay at Westfield Garden State Plaza through the end of the month.
Showrunners added more performances to the Bergen County schedule after several recent snowstorms impacted initial showtimes. The world-famous circus, which performs under a massive climate-controlled tent in the mall's parking lot, has seen a surge in ticket requests from local families.
The production blends time-honored circus traditions with contemporary theatrical elements. The international cast is headlined by "Chistirrin," a celebrated comedic performer and clown from Mexico known for his playful antics and audience engagement.
The 2026 lineup features several award-winning acts, including the Czech Republic's Duo Stauberti. The pair, winners of the prestigious Silver Clown Award, perform a perch act that combines high-altitude acrobatics with extreme balance and strength.
Other highlights include a gravity-defying highwire act from Uzbekistan; an aerial straps performance showcasing grace and athleticism, also from Uzbekistan; a multi-talented ensemble from Ukraine featuring dance, hoops and aerial artistry; and a precision diabolo juggling display from France and Switzerland.
The entire production is set to a synchronized soundtrack performed by the live Circus Vazquez Band.
Showtimes typically include weeknight evening performances and multiple matinees on Saturdays and Sundays.
