Four people were displaced due to a fire at their Bayonne home.
The fire on the 500 block of Avenue A started just after 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to Bayonne Fire Chief Keith Weaver.
Weaver says that the fire started in the basement and worked its way up to the upper floors of the home.
No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
The fire was under control about 30 minutes after it started.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but Weaver says that it does not appear to be suspicious.
