Simple assault charges have been dropped against a former NFL player after a bloody fight broke out between him and an airline employee at Newark Liberty International Airport back in May.
Brendan Langley, a former Denver Broncos cornerback, was arrested when the incident happened. The United Airlines worker was seen in the video on the ground with blood on his face. Video of the fight was posted on social media.
A spokesperson for United Airlines says the employee worked for a subsidiary of the airline and has been fired.
It's still not clear who started the fight, but court officials have determined Langley used force that was reasonably necessary.
