A would-be thief was stopped in his tracks as he tried to steal a car in Ocean County.

Video from a home surveillance system in Toms River shows a man running up to a car in the driveway. The would-be thief is scared off by the driver inside the car when he opens the door. The would-be thief ran to a waiting car that then drove off.

Toms River police say the same suspects are also wanted for attempted car thefts in Wall Township.
