Car crashes into Boonton restaurant amid snowy conditions
Boonton police say that the crash happened around 9 p.m. on the 700 block of Main Street.

A Boonton restaurant was damaged by a car that lost control Sunday night during the blizzard.
Boonton police say that the crash happened around 9 p.m. on the 700 block of Main Street. They say the driver of a Subaru Legacy tried to stop at a stop sign on Church Street but couldn't. The car crashed into Chili Willie’s Family Restaurant.
The owner of the restaurant says the crash destroyed some tables and chairs and left the front window shattered.
The driver was not injured.
Police say the snowy road conditions contributed to the incident.
