Smoke from the Canadian wildfires will return to New Jersey Thursday as temperatures around the state remain below average.
Storm Watch Team meteorologists say that the smoke will only impact the upper levels of the sky and should not affect visibility or pose a health issue.
THURSDAY: Sunny start with increasingly cloudy skies. Humidity increases and wildfire smoke filters in - yet not significantly impacting air quality. Highs near 83. Overnight lows near 64.
FRIDAY: Clouds collect, and rain arrives with possible thunderstorms in the late afternoon/evening. Thunderstorms are likely around the evening commute. Highs near 80. Overnight lows near 66.
