Burning smell forces Spirit Airline flight to make emergency landing in Atlantic City
A Spirit Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Atlantic City after a burning smell reportedly started coming from the cockpit.
According to FlightAware, the flight took off from Newark Liberty International Airport just after 2 a.m. Friday.
According to reports, the flight turned around off the coast of Virginia due to the burning smell, and then landed at Atlantic City International Airport.
This isn’t the first time this has happened to a Spirit Airlines flight in New Jersey. Back in June, a strange odor forced a Tampa-bound flight to also make an emergency landing in Atlantic City.
