Building under construction partially collapses in Roselle Park

Roselle Park police are asking the public to avoid the area around East Westfield Avenue near Berwyn Street following a partial building collapse.
The incident happened on Thursday around noon. Police say the vacant building was under construction at the time.
Photos from the scene appear to show that a wall fell down.
Officials say that a crew will demolish what is left of the building to prevent any further collapse.
The Roselle Park police and fire departments, along with PSE&G, were on the scene to make sure the area remained safe.
