Investigators say Alavez was playing with her brother in the park while their mother sat in a car nearby. The little girl then went missing.

She was last seen wearing a yellow shirt with a koala on the front, black and white pants with butterflies and flowers on them and white dress sandals.

Investigators have been searching for a man they believe may have lured Alavez away.

Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information about the incident.

The FBI says anyone with information should call the FBI's toll-free Tipline at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) and select option 4, then select option 8.
