A Brick Township woman was found guilty of using a wine bottle chiller to kill her wife.

A Brick Township woman was found guilty of using a wine bottle chiller to kill her wife.
Mayra Gavilanez-Alectus was on trial for killing Rebecca Gavilanez-Alectus in May 2020.
Authorities say police were called to the couple’s Creek Road home where Rebecca Gavilanez-Alectus was found dead.
Mayra Gavilanez-Alectus was accused of the crime. She was arrested in Houston, Texas, and brought back to New Jersey for her trial.
She is expected to be sentenced in November. She could face life in prison.
