It's
beginning to look a lot like the holidays in Brick City!
Newark's
annual tree lighting ceremony was held at City Hall on Tuesday night.
It featured
performances by the Newark Boys Chorus and other singers.
This is the
37th year of the tradition.
Mayor Ras Baraka said, "Whether you celebrate Hanukkah or Christmas or Kwanzaa, or
you don't celebrate anything at all, I just pray that this season is a great
season for you and that we end this year with love being triumphant."
