(AP) ? The Cherry Hill-based Flying Fish Brewing Co. is causing controversy after naming its latest alcoholic beverages after exits on the New Jersey Turnpike.
The brewery is releasing beers that celebrate the congested turnpike. One brew titled ?Exit 4? has been released to the public. The next creation will honor exit 11 and will be on store shelves in the region later in July.
The executive director of the New Jersey Mothers Against Drunk Driving chapter is not amused. Mindy Lazar calls the idea of linking a road and alcohol "almost a mockery."
Brewery founder Gene Mueller says it's all in fun and that the craft brewer opposes drinking and driving.
