What is a seasonable spring homecoming for temperatures? From 67 to 70 is normal from today through the first week in May. That's not too shabby. It's not 83, sunny and dry like today was, but it's what I like to call a “Goldilocks forecast.” Not too hot, not too cold. It's just right.
Clouds will collect tonight as a weak system passes through the area. A few scattered showers or isolated thunderstorms might develop. Nothing severe is expected, and the much-needed rainfall for the state looks confined to the far northwest corner of New Jersey.
The sun returns on Wednesday, along with the winds. This will make the allergens swirl around and make being outside insufferable for those who suffer from seasonal allergies. Damn you tree pollen!
Clouds will continue to slowly collect for the remainder of the week. As a result of this atmospheric blanket, temperatures might be a degree or two cooler than normal. That much-needed, statewide rainfall finally slips into our locale late Friday, and in an on-again, off-again fashion, showers will likely be the backbone of the forecast.
