The Bradley Beach Fire Department was out driving through local streets with sirens echoing around neighborhoods, as it picked up food donations for a food pantry.
The Bradley Food Pantry was asking for nonperishable items like pasta, pasta sauce, canned meals, canned meat or fish and cereal.
Community leaders said even one item could help. Residents were asked to put food in boxes or grocery bags on their front porch or near their front door.
Anyone who doesn't live in Bradley Beach can drop off nonperishable items and reusable grocery bags directly to the Bradley Beach Fire Department or the Bradley Food Pantry on Fourth Avenue.
The pantry is open Monday through Friday to anyone in need.
