Children and staff at the Lodi Boys and Girls Club continue to recover from damage brought on by last week?s flooding. A game room used by more than 15,000 children is contaminated, the gym now sags and the new pre-school and all of its equipment were destroyed. One employee says the previously empty Olympic-size pool was filled to the top with 10 feet of raw sewage. As floodwaters recede the cost of repairs at the boys and girls club rises. The manager estimates almost $750,000 in damage. This is the club?s 14th flood in five years. Residents say this flood is by far the worst and has devastated the community.
