The body of a missing swimmer has been found off the coast of Sandy Hook.
A park ranger found the body this morning. Helicopters and boats were called away from the search Thursday.
The 25-year-old swimmer was last seen in distress Wednesday night while swimming with friends. No lifeguards were on duty at the time.
Several of the parking lots at Sandy Hook were closed since they were used as staging areas for the search.
