Police say a body was discovered in a wooded section of a park in Millstone Township.
Police responded to a call at Perrineville Lake Park in western Monmouth County where they say a badly decomposed body was discovered in the woods.
The identity of the body and cause of death have not been released.
Investigators are still trying to determine the victim's gender and whether or not the death was suspicious.
