A Manville boat captain is facing deportation after a boat capsized in the Hudson River, killing a woman and her child.

Manuel Hernandez, 46, is in ICE custody.

Federal prosecutors said Hernandez is in the country illegally from El Salvador.

He is expected to face multiple charges.

Hernandez is accused of operating an unlicensed tour when the overcrowded boat capsized, federal prosecutors said.

The capsizing killed a woman and her child.
