19ds agoThe Lincroft Fire Company put out an urgent request for blood donations, as the effects of the pandemic leave supplies at dangerous lows.
"The need for blood is higher vs. 2019," the company wrote in a Facebook post. "Therefore, we don’t just need to 'return to normal,' we need to collect more!"
People were able to donate at the company's headquarters Tuesday afternoon.
Whether you're able to donate or not, people are being encouraged to amplify the message in any way they can.
