BITTER BLAST: Frigid temperatures across New Jersey for the holiday weekend

A wind chill advisory will be in effect through Saturday morning as temps plummet into the teens and 20s.

News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says wind will continue for the days to come, making cold temps feel even more brutal. 
A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect through Saturday morning as temps plummet into the teens and 20s. We could also see the chance for some quick snow.
Overnight into Christmas Eve, wind chills could feel like they’re below zero as gusts hit around 40 mph.
For Christmas Eve, it’ll be mostly sunny, but breezy and very frigid with highs in the 20s but feel like single digits.
It’ll be a chilly Christmas, as we’re expecting highs in the 20s and sunny skies again on Sunday.
The start of the week is expected to remain sunny, with temps only getting slightly less cold. Highs are set for the 30s on Monday and Tuesday.
