Oh, when it comes to the best of New Jersey on a steamy Monday morning, it's pretty fitting to uh get some gelato and you know who's doing that news? 12 New Jersey's Tony Caputo is in free this morning at Bruno's. You were on main street for the best of New Jersey. Love it, ladies. Good morning. We can get a lot more than gelato here, but we're going to focus on the gelato to get things started here this morning, Joe set is joining me, is the owner of Bruno's here on Freehold. And I mean, if you've driven down the road, you've seen Bruno's on main street here, Joe, thanks for the time. Thanks for joining us on this Monday morning. You're usually closed on Monday. I am usually closed. Thank you, Tony for coming in. We usually close, but it's Fourth of July. We open the doors. Talk about some gelato today. You have quite the display here, but I need to be up front and I need to be honest, as I always am on the air, I don't really even know what Gelato is. Talk to me and educate me, right? So Gelato is way different than regular ice cream. American ice cream gelato is milk based. It's less a rated and much creamier and rich in flavor. So actually originally in Florence, back in the 16th century, from some guy, I can't remember his name, Eddie Gelato, maybe Eddie Gelato. I think so. But you know, all throughout Italy, everybody does something different. So my family were Sicilian. So my favorite thing is I always went to Sicily and when my father always told me was, which basically is a bread and we fill it with gelato. Let's see it. Let's get it. It's amazing what flavor you want to. Uh I don't pick one that looks like an Oreo or something going on there or Yeah, let's do that. All right. Now, now, now they're going Oreo. I, I think I'm on everything else too. I don't stay with, stay with the one we mix it. That's when I'll pay the price. Oh my gosh. This is like this thing is heavenly. Are you kidding me? Look at that. That's crazy. This is the best thing to celebrate for lucky. I'm in superior shape at my age. Yes, you are. So I can handle it. Then I'm gonna try that. It's a good, good start to the day with the bread. I wanted to eat it like a burger. You can't do it. Hey, it's the best in New Jersey. We're having gelato and Brios. It's fantastic. Great stuff. Bruno's Bakery and freehold back next hour with a little more for you ladies. I wish you can get some of this.
