A Bergen County school district is installing bullet-proof doors for the new school year.

The Harrington Park School District has purchased more than 50 heavy steel doors for inside the building.

The district says 12 steel bars are engaged to keep the door secure when it is locked. They say it also features bullet-resistant glass.

The district says it also plans to replace is all of the outside doors.
