Bergen County to open cooling centers during this week’s heat wave
From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., residents can head to several cooling centers in Bergen County to keep cool.

Here are some cooling centers that will be open in Bergen County from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday:
- The county administration building in Hackensack.
- The senior activity center in Garfield.
- The northwest Bergen senior activity center in Midland Park.
- The southwest Bergen senior activity center in East Rutherford.
- The civic center or borough hall in Carlstadt.
