Former Brick High School football coach Warren Wolf died of complications from surgery Friday according to those close to his family. He was 92.
Wolf was Brick High School's football coach for more than 50 years and is the winningest coach in New Jersey public school history.
"You can't even explain what he meant to me," said Joseph Aulisi, of Brick Township. "He's like a second father -- he's a second father to all of his players."

He says he taught his players dignity, respect and how to be men.

During his time at the school, Wolf led Brick to six state championships.

According to Brick United, Wolf coached the football team until 2008. He also served as the mayor of Brick Township and was elected to the New Jersey State Assembly.
