Area kids got a chance to see the world from the viewpoint of a pilot today at Teterboro Airport.
The Aviation Hall of Fame of New Jersey at the airport held its annual Open Cockpit Day at the museum.
Kids of all ages were able to climb inside helicopters, planes and fire trucks.
The Aviation Hall of Fame says it opens the cockpits on their aircraft only five weekends a year.
It will be open Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The cockpits will be opened again on July 26 and July 27.
