The New Jersey Office of the Attorney General says that video from a police shooting after a high-speed chase in April shows that a Queens man pointed a gun at officers before he was shot and killed.
Bradley Pullman was killed by officers after the chase on Route 46 on April 26. Police said the 48-year-old fled after allegedly performing an illegal U-turn on the highway.
Video from the chase shows that the pursuit lasted several minutes before Pullman slowed down and stopped near an on-ramp to Interstate 80 in Wayne Township.
Pullman appears to be seen pointing a gun out of the driver’s side window before officers opened fire.
Police say that they recovered a loaded pistol from Pullman’s car.
The officers involved in the shooting were identified as Sgt. Frank Tracey, Officer James Ciampi, and Officer Kevin Chen of the Fairfield Police Department, along with Lt. Robert Franco of the Wayne Police Department.
The shooting remains under investigation.
