Authorities: South Amboy man found apparently stabbed to death near train station
A release from the prosecutor’s office says officers arrived at 140 N Broadway where Robert Spiegel was found lying on the ground. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:37 p.m.

A 32-year-old man from South Amboy was found apparently stabbed to death Friday night near the South Amboy train station, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim was identified as Robert Spiegel.
A release from the prosecutor’s office says officers arrived at 140 N Broadway where Spiegel was found lying on the ground. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:37 p.m.
The homicide is being investigated by the South Amboy Police Department, the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and assisted by the New Jersey Transit Police.
