The Paterson Police Department is searching for the woman they say robbed a Wells Fargo bank Wednesday morning.

Police say that the woman walked into the bank located at 466 Chamberlain Ave. just after 10:30 a.m., handed the bank teller a note stating that she had a gun and demanded money.

The woman was able to get away with over $5,000.

A picture of the woman was captured on the bank’s surveillance camera.

Anyone who recognizes her or knows where she may be is asked to call Paterson police at 973-321-1120.

Wells Fargo is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
