Authorities are searching for a person of interest connected to a deadly stabbing near a TGI Friday’s in Linden earlier this month.
The stabbing took place on Nov. 9 around 10 p.m. at the restaurant located at 400 South Park Ave. Officials say they found 35-year-old Erik Kuns with stab wounds outside the restaurant. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The Union County Prosecutor's Office identified the person of interest as a man who possibly goes by the name “D.”
“The person of interest is described as a Black male, approximately 6'0", 200lbs, with shoulder length hair/dreadlocks, and a black/gray patch beard…is believed to be approximately 50 years old. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing all black clothing, with no visible tattoos, and Air Jordan 14's (Ferrari) sneakers,” officials wrote in a Facebook post.
