Authorities search for teacher missing since June 7 from Roxbury

Officials say that Lara Emanuele, 46, went missing on June 7. She is a teacher at Alexander Hamilton Elementary School in Morristown.

Authorities are still searching for an elementary school teacher who went missing in Roxbury.
Officials say that Lara Emanuele, 46, went missing on June 7. She is a teacher at Alexander Hamilton Elementary School in Morristown.
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office says that Emanuele was last seen on June 7. Her vehicle was found the following day at a Holiday Inn Express parking lot on Howard Boulevard in Roxbury – about 5 miles from her home.
Sources tell News 12 New Jersey that Emanuele had a restraining order against her husband, but eventually lifted it. That source also stated that Emanuele’s home has been up for sale since Memorial Day weekend.
The source said that Emanuele was afraid something might happen to her because she was in an abusive relationship.
Emanuele is white, 5 feet 6 inches tall and has red hair. She weighs about 125 pounds.
