New Jersey State Police and the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office are searching for a mother and daughter who went missing over the weekend.

Cecilia Manzueta, 32, and her daughter Valentina Manzueta, 5, of Passaic, were last seen Saturday at the Holiday Inn near routes 1 and 9 South in Newark.

Neighbors in Passaic tell News 12 New Jersey that prior to the disappearance, they heard shouting from the family's home. Some neighbors say that they saw Cecilia throwing things out of the house and into garbage cans. They seemed to believe that she was having some type of dispute with her husband.

Passaic police were called to the house that evening, according to the neighbors.

Cecilia was last driving a white 2016 four-door Honda Accord with temporary New Jersey license plates with the number L516472.
