Authorities in Cumberland County have released a new age progression image of a young girl who vanished from a park nearly four years ago.
Sept. 16 marked the fourth anniversary of the day Dulce Maria Alavez went missing from the Bridgeton City Park. The child was 5 years old at the time.

Authorities have released a new image of what the child would look like today at 9 years old.
“We believe someone knows something that will help us determine and hold accountable the person(s) responsible for Dulce's disappearance.  We do not care about your immigration status if you are a witness in this matter,” authorities wrote in a statement.
Alavez went missing while playing with her brother in the park. The children’s mother was sitting in a car nearby.
A person of interest is being sought in the case. That person is described as a Hispanic male who is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall. He has a slender build and is between 30 and 35 years old.
