? Authorities released five passengers after detaining them when their plane landed at Newark Liberty International Airport Saturday.
People on the flight from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport became suspicious of the men, who spoke foreign languages, when they started looking at flight manuals. Police officers from the Port Authority greeted the plane when it landed about 3:20 p.m. with dogs and took the men into custody. Authorities now say the suspects, Angolan military personnel and an Israeli, were coming back from a helicopter training school in Texas.
The 121 passengers and five crew members were unharmed. Many passengers told News 12 New Jersey they were safe and unaware of the problem until officials arrived.
