A Somerville police officer’s home erupted in flames Saturday in the Martinsville section of Bridgewater, according to authorities.
The Finderne Fire Department says they responded to the scene and fought the flames following an alarm activation at Vito Spadea's residence.
A GoFundMe has already raised more than $75,000 for the family.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
