2ds agoThe Essex County Sheriff’s Crime Stoppers Program is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information about a deadly shooting in Newark on New Year’s Eve.
The shooting took place around 7 a.m. on Dec. 31 on the 100 block of Malvern Street.
Officials say that 67-year-old Jose Gaona was shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
No arrests have been made.
