Authorities say a New Jersey Transit train struck and killed a pedestrian early today.
It happened just before 1 a.m. near the HX bridge, which crosses the Hackensack River between the Secaucus and Rutherford stations.
Authorities say riders on board were put on another train, which was headed from Hoboken to Port Jervis.
