Authorities say a New Jersey Transit train and a car collided at a crossing, injuring two people in the vehicle.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. at the Main Street crossing in River Edge.
According to authorities, the train had departed from Spring Valley, New York and was headed to Hoboken.
Authorities say there were about 400 people on the train, but no crew or passengers were injured.
Details about the two people hurt in the crash were not immediately available.
Rail service on the Pascack Valley Line was suspended in both directions while the crash was investigated.
