Authorities in Manalapan say a man was killed after being struck by two vehicles on Route 33.

The accident happened Wednesday around 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of Route 33 and Woodward Road.

According to police, the 38-year-old man was not in the crosswalk when he was hit by the eastbound vehicles that had a green light near the intersection.

Police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers stopped and cooperated with authorities.

Police haven’t identified the pedestrian pending notification of his family.
