Authorities identify body of woman found washed up on Ocean County beach

The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office has identified the woman whose body washed up over the weekend in the Ocean Beach neighborhood of Toms River.

The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office has identified the woman whose body washed up over the weekend in the Ocean Beach neighborhood of Toms River.
According to the prosecutor’s office, Jennifer Jack, 43, of Lavallette, was found lying unresponsive Saturday around 6 a.m. on the beach near the water.
A post mortem examination was conducted later in the day, and the results determined the cause of death to be drowning.
