The man whose body was found on New Jersey Transit railroad tracks near the Manasquan station has been identified.
According to authorities, Richard Caputo, 23, of Manchester, was found Tuesday around 5:15 a.m. near the station with his motorcycle.
Authorities have said the train did not hit the body or the motorcycle.
Caputo's cause of death is still under investigation, but his obituary says he died in a "motorcycle accident in Manasquan."
The train had departed from Bay Head and was headed to New York's Penn Station. It wasn't known how many people were aboard the train.
The incident caused train service to be suspended between Bay Head and Long Branch.
