A 21-year-old firefighter was killed early Christmas morning after a crash in Hamilton, authorities say.
They say Natalie Dempsey was responding to a call around 6 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle and hit a guard rail.
Dempsey had worked with the Mizpah Volunteer Fire Company for three years. Her funeral service will have full honors because she died in the line of duty.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
