Authorities in Essex County are investigating Newark's third murder since Friday.
Officials say a man was shot and killed in the 600 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard around 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
They say 42-year-old Akbar Scott, of Newark, was found in the driveway of a residence there.
Police have not made any arrests at this time.
