Law enforcement officials are searching for two people responsible for a shooting at a Friendsgiving celebration in Passaic County over the weekend.
The county prosecutor says that four adults and a child were wounded in the shooting Sunday night in the city of Passaic.
The group had gathered in the backyard of a home near Lafayette and Howe avenues for the celebration. Authorities say two gunmen opened fire on the group just before 1 a.m.
A 4-year-old, a 21-year-old female, a 25-year-old female and a 29-year-old male sustained gunshot wounds that were not considered to be life-threatening. They were taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment. Police then discovered a 21-year-old male had sustained a graze wound and refused medical treatment.
