Five people were struck by a car in Jersey City Friday afternoon outside the Extra Supermarket on Martin Luther King Drive in Jersey City Friday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the city says that three adults and two children were struck while walking outside the store around 5 p.m. The people suffered injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
Kenneth Moore says that two of his friends were hurt in the crash.
"One guy couldn't feel his leg, and the other guy had a gash over his head,” says Moore. "I'm just glad that they were both coherent when the ambulance and the fire people got here. They were both coherent, but they were still shaken up."
